Farali Bafla:-

Ingredients Required:

For the dough:

  • 2 cups Singhara flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Engine Filtered Groundnut Oil
  • Water as much required

For the stuffing:

  • 1 tbsp Engine Filtered Groundnut Oil
  • 3 boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 2 tbsp coarsely ground peanuts
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • A handful of chopped coriander leaves

For Farali Bafla:

  • Engine Filtered Groundnut Oil for frying

How to make Farali Bafla:

  1. To make the dough, combine flour, salt, and oil.
  2. Gradually add water.
  3. Make a soft dough.
  4. To make the stuffing, heat oil.
  5. Add boiled and mashed potatoes, ground peanuts, salt, red chili powder, and chopped coriander leaves.
  6. Cook everything for 3-5 minutes.
  7. To make bafla, take a portion of the dough.
  8. Add in the stuffing. Shape it into a bafla.
  9. Steam for 10-12 minutes.
  10. Heat enough oil for frying.
  11. Deep fry steamed bafla until crisp.9
  12. Serve hot with yogurt and chutney.
