Driven by the passion of providing premium quality products, late LalaHaricharanLalAgarwal laid the foundation of Hari Group of Industries in 1959 and late KedarnathAgarwal’s persistent efforts paved the way for the group’s progress. Shree Hari Industries (Hari Oil Mills) was the first to begin with. An ISO 9001-2008 certified company-Hari Oil Mills has pioneered the launch of Mustard Oil in consumer pack, which has been well accepted in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Bihar, Bengal, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Rajasthan. There are more attributes that speak of the company at large. It specializes in development, production, and packaging of KachiGhani Mustard Oil, GingellyTil Oil, Mustard Oil Cake and Pickles which are manufactured in a highly modernized set up. Then they undergo stringent quality checks in the company’s state-of-the-art lab to earn the premium tag. Premium grade food containers are used for packaging of these products to maintain their freshness for a longer duration. Awards and accolades, such as UdyogPratibha Award 2001 by IIGS – Delhi, Lifetime Achievement Award by MRPC-New Delhi, Nation’s UdyogRatan Award 2006 by IOBRD- Delhi, RashtriyaNirmanRatan Award 2006 by IOBRD – Delhi, have further added to the group’s repute.
Being highly concerned towards health and good taste the company introduced Soya Refined Oil which is a rich source of Omega 3. Recently, pure Sesame Oil hit the Indian and International markets. Last but not the least homemade Pickles are adding a spicy touch to a variety of mouth watering dishes.

Engine “GROUND NUT OIL” & “REFINED OIL” was launched.
2018
A new production facility with 400 rollers was established with state of the art arrangements.
2016
Engine SUNFLOWER refined oil was launched.
2015
Engine came up with KIRANA range of products under the sub brand “SAMRIDDHI” offering chakki Atta, Maida, Suji, Dalia.
2014
Engine Top soya refined oil was launched.
2012
Engine “Til oil/sesame oil was launched.
2010
Shree Hari Group of Industries was once again expanded. Hari group keep on expanding its capacities, in the oil mill business. Also, Engine has launched “pickles “as a new product offering for its customers.
2000
In the year 2000, a new oil mill was established with 200 kohlus.
1996
99% of oil mills were closed due to cancellation of licenses as a consequence of adulteration of argemone oil in their mustard oil. Engine was one of the few brands that were permitted to carry on the business.
1990
And by 1990 Shree Hari Group of Industries had scaled up to 150 kohlus.
1987
In the late 1980s began the process of packaging and selling oils in pouches
1983
A new mill was established at Mathura with 120 kohlus.
1980
Engine had been selling loose oil till this date. Packaging of bottles started in early 1980s
1970
Company scaled up at a decent pace and by mid 1970s the production facility had already been upgraded to 50 kohlus.
1962
Engine got registered as a brand in 1962, however sales had already began in 1958.under the brand “ENGINE”
1955
An active freedom fighter Late Lala shri Hari charan Agarwal driven by passion of giving back to society bought an old factory and started our oil mill with just 2 kohlus(crusher in Oil Mills.
